West Brattleboro Family Practice (WBFP) is owned and operated by Craig Goldberg, DO. A DO is a Doctor of Osteopathy. We care for patients of all ages* without regard to race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status or gender.

Osteopaths are fully trained, fully licensed Dr.s like MDs but who have additional training which allows them to practice OMT or Osteopathic Manual Treatment (sometimes referred to as Osteopathic Manual Medicine or OMM).

At WBFP our specialty is to provide individualized care to patients utilizing a wide variety of treatment modalities which includes natural medicine along with Western allopathic medicine. This type of practice is known as an Integrative Medicine Practice. The modalities offered include Osteopathic Medicine, Traditional Western Allopathic Medicine, Herbal Medicine, Homeopathic Medicine and Yogic Medicine.

At WBFP Osteopathic Medicine is fee for service, meaning each treatment given is paid for either by the patient themselves or via their insurance company if they have medical insurance. We accept most private insurances as well as Workman’s Compensation, Medicare and Vermont Medicaid for Osteopathic Medicine. For the Family Practice Department of WBFP we utilize the Direct Primary Care (DPC) approach. For more information about what a DPC is, please see the DPC section of this website.
